About New Beginnings Dog Rescue
We are an all volunteer, non profit, 501C3 organization that provides a safe placement of pets that are surrendered by their
owners and dogs that have come from a pound or shelter. We also take in some cats and kittens when we have the room for them.
What makes us different from a shelter is that we have only foster homes for the dogs and they live in the homes with their
foster family, so they can observe them and know what they need work on and try to help them. We are able to tell the prospective
adopters exactly what the dog is like, so there are no surprises. Our dogs that come in receive any necessary veterinary
care, including required vaccinations and spaying/neutering and micro-chipping.
Our animals are also all adopted out with 30 days of free health insurance as a gift from the rescue.
The dog is then placed for adoption through a pre-adoption process that includes an application, home visit interview with
the applicant(s), and veterinarian reference check.
We depend on our adoption fees and donations to help us care for these animals while in foster care.
All of our dogs are micro-chipped, spayed
or neutered, tested for heartworm and up to date on their vaccines before they are adopted out. Our dogs and cats are also
adopted out with one month of free health insurance as a gift from us. WE DO NOT SHIP OUR DOGS.
There is a pre-adoption process that includes filling
out an application, a veterinarian reference check and then a home visit interview with the applicant to make sure that the
dog is being placed in the right home.
I know there are many animals out there that need financial help, but we have an
almost 8 year old Chihuahua, Snickers, who is being spayed right now, July 18th. The Vet just called the rescue to
tell me there is a mass in her uterus and she's bleeding a bit. She is going to remove it and send it out to see exactly
what it is. She's also going to be doing a dental on Snickers.
This is going to be a big expense and our rescue funds are really down. We totally
rely on adoption donations and lately the adoptions aren't happening as fast as our vet bills are.
We also have Marty, the Pom scheduled to have a dental on Tuesday and am afriad now that
we aren't going to have the money left to take care of him.
I'm asking if you could please make any kind of donation to help us out. It is tax
deductible as we are a non-profit rescue.
Thanks so much.
